Today I learned the value of distraction. Occasionally Holly & I will be out and about and the girlies will decide to fight or cry or do any number of things little girls do when they're very tired. We were in the van when this happened today and when Holly ran inside the house I decided to try out her trick (she's an expert at distraction!). So I whipped out my camera and said, "Kelsie, quick, super cute!" and she stopped mid-whine and gave me the cutest smile ever. I did the same with Whitney and it became a photography extravaganza instead of way-past-naptime-fight-time. I'm gonna have to remember this trick!
